Obituary
Mrs. Rittenhouse Dies Wednesday at Daughter’s Home
Funeral Saturday at Local Chapel and Burial Here
Mrs. MaBelle Rittenhouse, former resident of Wahpeton, died on Wednesday at Big Fork, Minn., where she was making her home with her daughter, Mrs. A. M. Carlson.
Mrs. Rittenhouse came to Wahpeton in 1891 with her husband, C. D. Rittenhouse, who was a pharmacist and former postmaster here before his death in 1937.
She resided here until the death of her husband. Besides her daughter she is survived by two sisters; Mrs. Hannah W. Robins, Burlington, N. J. and Mrs. Cora W. Stamets, of Ringoes, N.J.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 o’clock in the Schmitt and Olson Funeral Home in Wahpeton. Rev. W. M. Walton will officiate. Burial will be made in the family lot in Fairview cemetery.
The body will be at the Schmitt and Olson funeral home on Friday.
