Maude R. Russell-1908

MRS. RUSSELL DEAD The body of Mrs. F. A. Russell of Kensal was brot to this city yesterday morning for burial. Mrs. Russell died at Kensal Monday morning at 8 o’clock, the result of an operation performed in California two or three months ago. She was brot back to Kensal only a few days before her death. The funeral services were held at the home of A. G. Divet yesterday afternoon and the interment was made in Fairview cemetery. Rev. Moultrie of Valley City officiated and was assisted by Rev. Gallagher. Mrs. Bacon of Britton, S.D., and J. A. Russell were among the relatives who were present. Mrs. Russell was formerly Miss Maud McLaughlin and lived in this city for a while a number of years ago, at which time she was employed in the Globe office. She was thirty-eight years of age and was married at Hankinson in 1896. Besides her husband she leaves three small children. She was a very popular young woman and the news of her death was received with deep regret by numerous friends in this city and Hankinson.
