Rusten Child Dies Tuesday
Funeral Services for Fifteen Months Old Son of Mr. and Mrs. Manley Rusten Friday
Funeral services for Allen Peter Rusten, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Manley Rusten will be held Friday afternoon at two o’clock from their home on North Ninth Street and at 2:30 from Bethel Lutheran Church. The baby died Tuesday following a week’s illness, cause of death being pneumonia.
Allen Peter Rusten was born November 23 1932. He was baptized by Rev. R. J. Wisnaes, pastor of Bethel Lutheran church, who will officiate at the funeral services. He is survived by his parents and by two brothers, Manley, Jr., and John, and one sister, Carol Ann.
Pallbearers will be Vernon Hedner, Waldemar Erickson, Donald Bezenek and Clyde Popp. Miss Harriet Hedner will sign, “What a Friend We Have in Jesus,” and “Safe in the Arms of Jesus.”
The death was especially sad as Mrs Rusten received word of the death of her father, Mr. Vig, of Sharon, N.D, the day before the baby died and her bother came here to take her to her fathers’ funeral, which however, she was unable to attend. A number of relatives will attend the funeral services for Mr. Vig, which are being held today (Thursday).
