CENTER PIONEER WOMAN IS DEAD Mrs. Thea Rudd For 17 Years A Resident of This Vicinity, Passes Away
Mrs. Thea Rudd, Center township, died at her farm home early Wednesday morning. As a young bride she came to the township with her husband 47 years ago from Norway. Her husband, Sven O. Ruud, preceded her in death 12 years ago. Mrs. Thea Rudd was born in Norway Oct. 27, 1842. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, John Ruud, James Ruud, and Miss Julia Ruud are living with their mother at home. Another daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Viland, lives near Abercrombie. Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at one o’clock from the home.
