Obituary
Anna Emilie Ruud-1907
The funeral of Emilie Ruud, daughter of S. O. Ruud near Wild Rice, 5 miles west of Wahpeton took place March 1st from the Zion Norwegian Lutheran church of Wahpeton of which she is a member. The church was nicely decorated for the occasion and a large audience was present. The pastor, Rev. E. M. Broen conducted the funeral services in which also Mr. M. Larson of Council Bluffs,
Ia. and Prof. Lundeberg took part. The Bible school quartette sang a touching song. Pall bearers were students of the Bible school. The departed had been ill for some time, but she bore her afflictions very patiently as she had learned to trust Jesus and rested in His love. She was a little over twenty-one years of age, and will be greatly missed in home, church and neighborhood.
