Obituary
Ella Rinnels, 87, Santa Rosa, Calif., formerly Foxhome, died Wed-nesday, Nov. 13, at Santa Rosa. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Foxhome United Methodist Church. The Rev. Lavern Johnson will of-ficiate. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.
Visitation will be Saturday only from 9 a.m.-noon at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, and one hour prior to the service at the church. She was born Jan. 4, 1897 to John and Emma (Schuler) Baumgartner in Iowa. As a child she moved with her family to the Wolverton, Minn., area where she grew up and attended school. She worked on various farms in that area, then returned to Iowa where she met Jabob Rinnels.They were married Sept. 15, 1920 at Breckenridge. They farmed in the Rothsay and Foxhome area. He later worked on the railroad and for the P.H. Gust Elevator, Foxhome. He died in 1970. She moved to Santa Rosa in 1980.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Herman (Hilda) Henrichs, Billings, Mont.; and Mrs. Roy (Maxine) Mittag, Ottertail City, Minn.; two sons,LaVern, Breckenridge; and Ken-neth, Santa Rosa; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Leta Miller and Mrs. Herman (Inez) Fankhanel, both Barnesville; Edith Ronnigen, Fergus Falls; and Mrs. Claude (Hazel) Miller, Mesa, Ariz.
Casket bearers will be Harold Monk, Lloyd Moore, Tom Hought, Albert Muller, Rudy Langston, Laurel Wright.
