Marvel Radke

Funeral services for Marvel (Mrs. William) Radke, 63, of Breckenridge will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Breckenridge Lutheran Church with Rev. Eugene Floistad officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Wahpeton.

Mrs. Radke died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Monday continuing through the evening at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, and for one hour prior to the services at the church.

Marvel Radke was born June 11, 1911, at Glencoe, Minn. to Fred and Alma (Nubbe) Applin. She attended school at Lowry and Elbow Lake and later worked as a seamstress.

She married William (Tony) Radke June 29, 1942 at Moorhead and the couple made their home in Breckenridge.

Mrs. Radke was active in the Breckenridge and Wahpeton bowling associations and the North Dakota Bowling Association.

Survivors include her husband; three brothers, Harold of Elbow Lake and Floyd and Wesley of Minneapolis; five sisters, Nina and Gloria Aplin of Elbow Lake, Mrs. William (Vera) Peschel of Breckenridge, Mrs. Orval (Arvilla) Wittman of St. Louis Park, and Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Skowronski of Minneapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Arrangements were with Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home in Breckenridge.
