Caroline E. Roberts
The funeral for Caroline E. Roberts, 86, Wahpeton, N.D., will be there at 11 Wednesday in Immanuel Lutheran Church. She died Sunday. Caroline E. Thiel was born Nov. 13, 1896, at Mooreton, N.D. At age 8 she moved with her parents to Barney, N.D. She was a graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing, Breckenridge, Minn., and was a registered nurse at Rochester, Minn., and Milwaukee. She married Harry A. Roberts May 23, 1942, at Rhinelander, Wis. They lived at Lake Tomahawk, Wis., and in California before returning to Barney where they lived for 10 years. They moved to Wahpeton in the late 1960s. He died in 1973. She lived in the Leach Home and the Wahpeton Healthcare Center before moving to the St. Francis Home, Breckenridge. Survivors include three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Charles (Ella) Brosowske, Wyndmere, N.D.; Mrs. Ada Kressin, Wahpeton; Edna Thiel, Denver, and Carl Thiel, Owantonna, Minn. (Vertin's of Wahpeton)
