Obituary
Joyce Rogers
Mrs. Glen (Joyce) Rogers, 30, Wahpeton, died Wednesday, Jan. 21 at her home. The funeral will be Saturday, Jan. 24, at the United Methodist Church, Wahpeton, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Norman Winkelman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be today (Friday) starting in the afternoon and continuing through the evening and again on Saturday until 11 a.m. at Vertin's-Wahpeton East Chapel. There will be a prayer service this evening at 7 at the chapel. There will also be visitation at the church for the hour prior to services.
Joyce Cynthia Kluck was born Oct. 28, 1950 to Wallace and Evelyn (Carlsrud) Kluck in Breckenridge. She was raised in Rothsay and graduated from Rothsay High School in 1968 and the NDSSS Licensed Practical Nursing Program in 1969. She married Glen Rogers Nov. 8, 1969 at Rothsay. The couple lived in Wahpeton.
She was a member of United Methodist Church and Faith Circle. She was a Sunday school teacher and she belonged to the church couples' club. She was also a member of the Christian Women's Club. She was also a member of the organization committee of that club.
Survivors include her husband, three children, Greg, Nicole, and Aaron, all at home, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Kluck, Rothsay, five sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Donald (Jean) Goodman, Darien, Conn., Mrs. Norman (Janice) Baker, Rothsay, Mrs. Joseph (Sandra) Freeman, Denver, Sheri Kluck, a student at Moorhead State University, Sheila at home in Rothsay, Roger, Washburn, N.D., Robert, Minneapolis and a grandfather, Joseph Kluck, Yuma, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by three grandparents.
Casket bearers will be Roger and Robert Kluck, David and Wesley Rogers, James Worner and Tom Reimshe.
