Jordan Dale Berndt
Jordan Dale Berndt, Four-and-one-half-month old son of Steven and Darlene (Deike) Berndt, Grand Forks, died Friday, July 8, at Grand Forks from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (crib death). The funeral was today (Monday) at United Methodist Church, Wahpeton, Rev. A.R. Aleson officiating. There was a memorial service in Grand Forks Sunday. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton.
The baby was born Jan. 24, 1983 at Grand Forks.
Survivors include his parents; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Delwood Berndt, Breckenridge; and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Deike, rural Wahpeton; his great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Irby Berndt, Wahpeton; and great-grandmothers, Mrs. Melinda Schultze, Ceylon, Minn.; and Mrs. Alice (Lonsdalen), Moorhead.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Vera Berndt.
