Obituary
Ernest A. Bohn, 95, Wahpeton, died Monday, May 26, 1986, at St. Francis Medical Center, Breckenridge. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton. The Rev. Ernest Bartels will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton.
Visitation will be this afternoon and evening (Tuesday) and Wednesday until 11 a.m. at Vertin's Wahpeton Funeral Home and at the church prior to the service.
He was born April 11, 1891, in Brandenburg Township, Great Bend, to William and Ernestine (Brandel) Bohn. He married Caroline Schroeder Feb. 15, 1915, at Wahpeton. They farmed the Bohn Homestead and in 1929 they moved to Wahpeton where he was employed by Leo Novetzke and several other contractors in Wahpeton. In 1984 the couple moved to the Wahpeton Health Care Center.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife and many nieces and nephews. •
He was preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters.
Pallbearers are John, Wilbur, Milton and Chester Bohn and Alvin Ambach.
