Obituary
Elmer A. Bohn
Elmer A. Bohn, 73, Wahpeton, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge. The funeral will be at 10:30 Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton, Rev. Ernest Bartels officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.
Visitation is Friday afternoon and evening with a prayer service at 7:30 and at the church for the hour prior to the service. Elmer Bohn was born Oct. 17, 1909 at Great Bend to Emil and Minnie (Radke) Bohn. He was raised and attended school at Great Bend.
He lived at Hankinson. He then married Gertrude Winkler, Aug. 1, 1951 at Hankinson. They lived at Amboy, Minn., until 1957 when they moved to Wahpeton.
He worked for several construction companies. She died Nov. 24, 1975. He continued to live in Wahpeton later moving to the Wahpeton Health Care Center.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two brothers and three sisters, Ralph, Lidgerwood; Rudolph, Wahpeton; Mrs. Myrtle Prochnow and Mrs. Irma Medenwaldt, both Hankinson; and Mrs. John (Linda) Kefti, Sweet Home, Ore.
He was preceded in death by five brothers.
