Frank Domm
December 21, 1920 — July 12, 2015
Frank Eldon Domm was born December 21, 1920, at Sawyer, ND, the son of Walter C. and Alta (Nulph) Domm. As a child he lived in South Dakota before moving to Wyndmere, ND, where he attended rural school. He worked for Walter M. Crawford farming near Wahpeton. He was united in marriage to Patricia Crawford on June 6, 1948. The couple spent their working years farming and raising cattle. He retired in the mid 1980's and continued to live on the farm spending winters in Mesa, AZ. They moved to Wahpeton in 2002, in the fall of 2014, Frank and Patty moved to Sienna Court in Wahpeton. Frank entered St. Catherine's Living Center in February of 2015.
Frank had a great love of farming which he never lost. He was a member of the Eagles Club where for many years he thoroughly enjoyed the weekend dances and the lifetime friends he made there. Frank also liked playing croquet with his friends in Richland County and Mesa AZ.
Frank is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patty, Wahpeton; three daughters: Elaine (Frank) Jarvis, Brandon, FL; Nancy (Don) Berg, Colfax, WI; Karen (Mark) Bartholomew, Miles City, MT; three grandchildren: Logan and Taylor Bartholomew, Marti (Jeff) Burleson; a step great-granddaughter, Saddie Burleson, and a sister, Carol Plombon, Hutchinson, MN; two sisters-in-law, Muriel Domm and Helen Domm; and many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers: Eileen Duncan, Edna Erdmann, Walter "Bob" Domm, Lois Strickland and Arnold Domm.
