Obituary
OBITUARY-HOLCOMB Jennie E. McDonald Holcomb was born near Des Moines, Iowa, Nov. 24, 1868 At the age of 8 years she moved with her parents to Orange-ville, Michigan, where her childhood was spent. On December 1, 1888, she was united in marriage to B. Mason Holcomb, of Prairieville, Mich., and to this union five children were born, one lying in infancy. In the year 1903, she removed with her fantly from Prairieville, alich., to Mooreton, this county, where they resided until better schools wero necessary for her older children, when they moved to Wah-peton, where she made her home until called to her home above, July 22, 1913. Few knew her intimatels, as she was of a retiring disposition; but those who knew her best loved her most. She became a christian when very young, and at an early age she united with the M. E. church at Prairieville, Mich. She was an earnest christian, ever striving to do His will, a faithful, patient wife and an unselfish and devoted mother. She leaves to mourn their loss four children, a husband, to sisters, a brother and a multitude of friends. "God giveth the weary rest."
