Obituary
Catherine was born August 31, 1930, to John and Mary Jane O'Leary. She was raised and educated in Chicago, Illinois. While working as a nurse for the Santa Fe Railroad, Catherine met Howard (Doug) Henderson, and married him on June 2, 1956 in Long Beach, California. They moved to Wahpeton with their family in 1966. In 1994, Catherine left North Dakota to live closer to her children.
She is survived by four daughters and one son, John, Fargo; Helen (Lowell) Tiede, Redmond, Wash.; Nancy (Ernest) Fyre, Portland, ND; Mary (Frank) Litaker, Minneapolis, MN; and Barbara (Joseph) Ziebert, Milwaukee, WI; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Blackburn, Orland Park, IL, and Lillian O'Leary, Evergreen Park, IL, and many nieces and nephews.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband Howard in 1988, and her daughter Margaret (John) Clemedtsen in 2006.
Catherine will be remember for her loving heart and always making her family the highest of priorities. Her spunk, positive attitude and generosity will be missed by all who knew her.
