Obituary
Ralph Charles Jost was born on September 13, 1923 to Charles and Alice (Brand) Jost on the farm west of Wahpeton, ND where he lived his entire life. He attended country school in Center Township of Richland County. Ralph farmed with his brothers until he joined the Air Force in 1946. He served in the Philippines as a mechanic until his discharge in 1947. He then returned to the home farm and attended NDSCS in Wahpeton from 1948 to 1950 where he received a degree in auto mechanics.
Ralph was united in marriage to Elsie Tapper on June 23, 1956 in Detroit Lakes, MN. He spent the rest of his life farming and raising his children with Elsie. Ralph and Elsie were also instrumental in starting the Assembly of God Church in Wahpeton, where they faithfully served in various capacities for many years. Ralph enjoyed his life on the family farm with Elsie and especially enjoyed the times spent with his children and grandchildren.
