Obituary
Dorothy was born October 27, 1925, at Kent, MN, the daughter of Harry and Johanna (Tetzloff) Guderian. Her father passed away when she was a small child and her step-father William Ruediger helped raise Dorothy. She attended rural school near Kent. Dorothy worked in Fargo, ND, and married Marvin Krueger on January 20, 1950. They lived on a farm north of Breckenridge for several years until they moved into Breckenridge in 1959. Dorothy worked for Vada's Steak House and Fox Motel in Breckenridge; she later cooked for Clem's Cafe in Wahpeton. The couple moved to Walker Lake, MN in 1994.
Dorothy enjoyed the lakes; working on her flowers and fishing. She loved to spend time with her family which usually meant cooking for many. She always looked forward to dancing and will be remembered by her friendly laugh.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Marvin Krueger, Richville, MN; and her six children, Faye (James) Salveson, Wildrose, ND, Douglas (Paula) Krueger, Breckenridge, MN, Michael (Nancy) Krueger, Felton, MN, Gregory Krueger, Huron, SD, Rick (Sharon) Krueger, Walcott, ND, Jeffrey (Jeri) Krueger, Breckenridge, MN; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several foster grandchildren; her brother, Elmer (Edna) Guderian, Fergus Falls, MN; her sister, Marcella Krueger, Moorhead, MN; her sister-in-law, Beverly (James) Gorder, Elgin, MN and her special friends, Barb Randall, Sue and Duane Hiedeman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Johanna; her step-father, William Ruediger; her granddaughter, Ariane; her great-granddaughter, Katiana Wheeler, (both in 2007); her daughter-in-law; Mary Jo Krueger; and her brother-in-law, Arlyn Krueger.
