Obituary
Maloa S. Boylan was born in Hardin county, Iowa, June 11, 1862 and died in Wahpeton, North Dakota, Feb. 23, 1928, aged 65 years, 8 months and 12 days.
She was united in marriage to John J. Lohr, March 23, 1884; to this union were born three daughters and two sons, one of whom died at Camp Dodge, Iowa, April 13, 1918. The remaining ones were present at the last rites. Mrs. Beulah B. Rowley, Erhard, Minn; Will T. Lohr, Willseyville, New York; Mrs. Marie A. Mitchell, Danville, Ill.; Charles W. Lohr who died at Camp Dodge, Iowa; Mrs. Gladys Lucas, of Wahpeton, also one of her brothers, T. E. Boylan, Hubbard, Iowa.
She leaves to mourn her loss besides her husband, one son and three daughters, her three sisters and five brothers, one grandson and four granddaughters.
She was converted in early childhood and united with the Methodist Episcopal church, remaining an active member of the same until her death.
She was an earnest Christian; a devoted wife, a loving mother and a helpful friend.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the Methodist church with Rev. Davis and Rev. Davies, of Breckenridge is in charge.
Pall bearers were: Messrs. Paul Swartz, Merchant, Brockhausen, Rosenkranz, Harmon.
