Audrea Lenzmeier

June 2, 1931 — August 17, 2014

Audrea A. Lenzmeier, 83, Rogers, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Circle of Life Legacy Village, Bentonville, Arkansas. The Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 30, at St. John's Catholic Church, Wahpeton, ND, with Rev. Dale Lagodinski celebrant. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.

Audrea was born on June 2, 1931 in Kranzburg, South Dakota to John B. and Marie (Ruhr) Lenzmeier. She moved with her family to Wahpeton, ND and attended St. John's Grade School and Wahpeton High School. She worked for the Breckenridge Phone Company as a telephone operator from 1947-1949. She then moved to Crystal, MN and worked for AAA for 10 years in Minneapolis, MN. In 1976 Audrea began employment with ProColor Co., Minneapolis; retiring in 1996 after 20 years. During her retirement she would help out part-time at ProColor and also enjoyed traveling and visiting family. She moved to Wahpeton, ND to be closer to family for a time and then moved to Rogers, Arkansas to live with her sister, Ellyn. Audrea was also a life-long member of the VFW Auxiliary in Wahpeton.

She is lovingly survived by her four sisters; Leone Medenwaldt, Breckenridge, MN, Juanita (Howard) Steen, Starbuck, MN, Muriel "Kitty" (Roger) Olson, Mesa, AZ and Ellyn Thompson, Rogers, AR; three brothers, Dennis (JoAnn)Lenzmeier, Fargo, ND, Ralph Lenzmeier, Payson, AZ and Robert "Bob"(Connie)Lenzmeier, Medina, MN and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Rosemary and Sheila and her brothers; LaVern "Bud", Harold "Sport", CW "Bill", John H., Douglas, Lyle "Terry" and Frank C.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association.

The Garden of the Christus is located in the Memorial Gardens, which comprises the northern half of the cemetery.
