Obituary
Ethel Lucille (Brackin) Loll was born near Sonora, ND, between Hankinson and Great Bend, ND, on March 13, 1917, to Ralph and Lydia (Affeldt) Brackin. She attended country school for eight years, and graduated from Hankinson High school.
Ethel married Arnold "Barney" Loll in 1938. They lived in Breckenridge, MN for one year, and then in Wahpeton until 1965 when they moved to Buena Park, California. Ethel worked as a planner for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Company until her retirement in 1982. After her husband died in 1987 she moved to Florida, and lived there until health problems brought her back to Wahpeton. Ethel resided at St. Catherine's Living Center from 2000 to 2007.
Ethel is survived by her four children, Loy (Coleman) Morris, Wahpeton, Sandra (Jerry) Meide, Wahpeton, Cheri (Romulo) de Leon, Lake Arrowhead, CA, and Robert Loll, Anaheim Hills, CA; his six grandchildren, Indika (Rudy Crum) Morris, Ty (Aimee) Morris, Kristie (Mark) Meier, Greg (Darcy) Meide, Tate (Kellene) de Leon, Andre de Leon; nine great-grandchildren; and his sister, Dolly Barnes, Huntington Beach, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arnold "Barney" Loll; three brothers, Lester, Earl, and John; and her sister, Fern.
