Obituary
Ernest C. Otto Wahpeton
Ernest C. Otto, 79, rural Wahpeton, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1986, at his farm home. The funeral will be Fri-day, at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton, with Rev. Ernest Bartels officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton.
Visitation will be Thursday beginning at 3 p.m. and will continue through the evening with a prayer service to be held at 7 p.m. at Ver-tin's Wahpeton Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will also be held Friday until 11 a.m. at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the service at the church.
Ernest Carl Otto was born Feb. 27, 1907 in Center Township at rural Wahpeton to Carl and Elizabeth (Wasmuth) Otto. He was raised and attended schools in Center Township. In 1950 the family moved to a farm near Wahpeton in Center Township. He farmed with his brothers and sisters.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton.
Survivors include one sister, Adelia Otto, rural Wahpeton. He was preceded in death by two brothers, six sisters and an infant brother.
Casketbearers will be Robert Deede, Willard Onchuck, Carl Glander, Phil Glander, Orvel Holthusen, and Kevin Onchuck.
