Obituary
Esther H. Schulz
Esther H. Schulz, 75, Wahpeton, died Saturday, July 24 at her home. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton, Rev. David Eggebraten officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Casket bearers will be North Dakota State School of Science faculty members.
Visitation is this afternoon and evening (Tuesday) and at the church for the hour prior to the service.
Esther Schulz was born Feb. 25, 1907 at Montevideo, Minn., to Paul and Emma Schulz. After graduating from the University of Minnesota she came to Wahpeton in 1932 and taught at North Dakota State School of Science. She retired from teaching in 1976.
She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. She was also a member and directed the church choir for over 35 years. She was a charter member of Zonta and served as Parliamentarian for many years.
Survivors include several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
