Obituary
Ruth was born August 19, 1923, in Wahpeton, ND, the daughter of Victor and Louise (Leuring) Burton. She grew up in Wahpeton and graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1942. Following graduation she began working for the New System Bakery in Wahpeton. She also worked at Uncle Jim's Restaurant and the Vada Fox Cafe.
On May 27, 1944, Ruth was joined in marriage to Frederick Seibel at Breckenridge Lutheran Church. They made their home in Breckenridge, where they have since resided.
Ruth was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and Breckenridge Senior Citizens, and a former member of the Shirley Addition Homemakers Club. She was also a Cub Scout den mother when her sons were young. She enjoyed playing cards, working puzzles, and spending summers with her family at their Ottertail Lake cabin. She especially enjoyed visits from her children and grandchildren.
