Obituary
Carol Jean Stoltenow was born August 21, 1947, at Breckenridge, MN to Leonard and Ruth (Schubert) Stoltenow. Carol was baptized on September 18, 1947, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Great Bend, ND, by Rev. Rengsdroff. She was confirmed on March 26, 1961, at Trinity Lutheran Church, by Rev. Tuescher. She attended rural Great Bend schools and graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1965. She attended North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, for one year. She was employed at several businesses in Wahpeton. She was presently employed at Imation, Wahpeton.
Carol transferred from Trinity Lutheran Church, Great Bend to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton on January 6, 1973. She enjoyed reading and doing puzzle books.
She is survived by her mother, Ruth, Wahpeton; her brother, Darvin (Diane) Stoltenow, Plymouth, MN; and her step-nieces, Shelli Haft, Long Lake, MN, and Stacy Maxwell, Wayzata, MN.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard, July 5, 1999; and her brother, Kenneth, May 7, 2004.
