Obituary
Darlene Thielke
April 30, 1938 — December 19, 2010
Darlene M. Thielke was born April 30, 1938 at Enderlin, ND, the daughter of Ted and Verona Johnson. She grew up in Enderlin and graduated from Enderlin High School in 1957. She attended NDSSS in the Nursing Program and worked for St. Luke's in Fargo. She was united in marriage to Harlan A. Thielke on September 10, 1961. The couple moved to Wahpeton where Darlene raised their two sons. She later worked for Todd's Welding, Breckenridge, Richel's Beverage and Nancy B's of Wahpeton. Harlan died on September 12, 2008; Darlene continued to live in Wahpeton.
Darlene was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and VFW Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler and took a great interest in her grandsons.
Darlene is survived by her two sons: Blair Thielke, Lisbon, ND; and Ryan (Christi) Thielke, Moorhead, MN; grandchildren, Jake and Ty Thielke; and her brother, Curtis Johnson, West Fargo, ND.
She was preceded in death by husband, Harlan and her parents.
