Lawrence Raymond Wanna, 52, Fargo, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, in Fargo.
Mr. Wanna was born Dec. 9, 1951, in Kansas City, Mo. In 1956 the family moved to Breckenridge, Minn., where he grew up and graduated from high school in 1970. He attended Haskell Indian Junior College in Lawrence, Kan., Fergus Falls (Minn.) Community College, and graduated with a bachelors of arts degree in business from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 1978. In 1981 he received a masters degree in education administration from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion. In 1981 he married Paula Pratt in Fargo. He worked as housing director for the Nebraska and South Dakota Tribal leadership.
He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie, Eden Prairie, Minn.; a brother, Ron (Sue), Lawrence; two sisters, Coretta (Arnold) Jefferson, Lawrence, Loretta Fragua, N.M.; and a granddaughter.
Visitation: Friday from 10 to 11 in Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, N.D.
Funeral: Friday at 11 in the funeral home.
Burial: Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.
