Herbert A. Woodbury
Wahpeton, N.D.
Herbert Arthur Woodbury, 91, Wahpeton, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, in his home.
Mr. Woodbury was born June 19, 1913, near Abercrombie, N.D., where he grew up and attended school. In 1929, the family moved to Mooreton, N.D. In 1935, he began farming near McLeod, N.D. On Oct. 26, 1941, he married Ragna Haugen near Leonard, N.D. In 1976, they retired and moved to Wahpeton. They moved to Wyndmere, N.D., and returned to Wahpeton in 1985.
He is survived by his wife, four sons, Arnold (Lynn), Wyndmere, Howard (Joy), Larry (Judy), David (Paula), all McLeod; a daughter, Linda (Richard) Haberman, Barney, N.D.; a brother, Robert, Puyallup, Wash.; a sister, Marcia Clark, Bothell, Wash.; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tonight from 5 to 7, with a prayer service at 7, in Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, and Saturday from 10 to 11 in Faith Evangelical Free Church, Wahpeton.
Funeral: Saturday at 11 in the church.
Burial: Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.
