Obituary
Esther was born April 10, 1923, at Hankinson, ND, the daughter of Albert and Olga (Meyer) Bellin. She grew up in Hankinson and attended Hankinson Public School to the 8th grade. She subsequently moved to Wahpeton where she did house work.
Esther was united in marriage to Morris Worner from Great Bend, ND, on December 29, 1941. She moved to Brooklyn, NY, where her husband was stationed in the US Coast Guard. They returned to Great Bend where her husband went into business with Morris's father. They subsequently began a farming operation and worked together in both businesses. In 1963 they closed their general merchandise store and retired from farming. They moved to Wahpeton and purchased the Gamble hardware and furniture store in Breckenridge, MN, working together for 10 years. She later worked at the style shop in Breckenridge and managed the Style Shop in Lidgerwood, ND.
Esther enjoyed traveling and especially going south for the winter to their home in Arizona. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Zonta International, and the order of Eastern Star. She loved collecting antiques, family gatherings and cooking.
Survivors are a son, James and daughter-in-law Joyce, Battle Lake, MN, a daughter, Delaine and son-in-law, Dean Ferkinhoff, Eden Prairie, MN; two brothers, Kenneth Bellin, Omaha, NE, and Donald Bellin, Hankinson, ND; two sisters, Edith Pankow, Breckenridge, MN, and Mae Hendricks, Lidgerwood; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Morris; daughter, Kathleen; brothers, Alfred and Harold; and sisters, Dorothy Fisher and Irene Peterson.
