Roman R. Waldera
Wahpeton, N.D.
Roman Ralph Waldera, 70, Wahpeton, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at his home.
Mr. Waldera, known as Skip, was born Feb. 12, 1934, in Geneseo, N.D. He graduated from Lidgerwood (N.D.) High School in 1952. He then attended North Dakota Stat University. IN 1955, he joined the U.S. Army and served in Germany. On Feb. 17, 1958, he married Patricia Corhouse in Geneseo. They lived in Minneapolis until 1978, when they moved to Dickinson, N.D. He worked for Continental Life Insurance Co., Robert Hall Department Store, Bloomington, Minn., and for Tele-ad Advertising, Albertsville, Minn. In 1995, they moved to Fargo. They later moved to Wahpeton. She died in 1996.
He is survived by three daughters, Wanda (Pat) Lien, Veblen, S.D., Brenda Easton, Rhonda (Mike) Ishaug, both Fargo; two brothers, Jerry (Jean), Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Glen (Carol), Wahpeton; and five grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday from 1 to 2 in Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.
Memorial service: Wednesday at 2 in the funeral home.
