Obituary
Agnes Manock Worner
Agnes Manock Worner, 61, Breckenridge, died Friday, May 28 at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church, Wahpeton, with Rev. Clifford L. Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton.
Visitation is Monday afternoon and evening with a prayer service at 8 p.m. and Tuesday until 11 a.m. at Vertin's-Wahpeton Funeral Home Chapel and at the church for the hour prior to the service.
Agnes Mary Cromie was born April 15, 1921 in Ballymena, Ireland, to David and Elizabeth Marshall Cromie. She was raised and attended schools in Ireland. She married Sgt. Nathan Manock in 1943 in Ireland. In 1946 they moved to Fairmount, N.D. They later lived in Wahpeton and Hancock, Minn., before moving to Syracuse, N.Y. Her husband died in 1959. She moved with her family to Breckenridge following his death. She married Herbert L. Worner Dec. 8, 1962 at Breckenridge. They lived there. He died Jan. 18, 1981. She continued to live in Breckenridge. She was employed at the Wahpeton Health Care Center for 14 years in the dietary department. Prior to that she was employed at St. Francis Hospital as a nurse aide.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters, David (Jim) Manock, Breckenridge; Loren Manock, Wahpeton; Bernard Manock, Breckenridge; Mrs. Tom (Louise) Miller, Moorhead; Mrs. Jerry (Cecilia) Coffey, Wahpeton; 12 grandchildren, three sisters and a brother in Ireland.
