Obituary
Keith Fenske
Keith H. Fenske, 31, Mooreton, died Tuesday, June 15, at a Fargo hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, Barney, with the Rev. Richard Hallman officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton.
Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening at Vertin's Funeral Home - Wahpeton Chapter with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday until 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel and at the church one hour prior to the service.
Keith Harold Fenske was born April 26, 1951, at Valley City. He was raised at Great Bend in Brandenburg Township. He attended schools at Wahpeton and graduated from Wahpeton High School and North Dakota State School of Science with an associate degree in liberal arts.
He married Judith Muehlberg Aug. 20, 1971, at Barney. He attended the University of Minnesota-Crookston majoring in agriculture. In 1972 they moved to Hankinson where they farmed in Waldo Township. In 1974 they moved to Mooreton where they farmed in Antelope Township.
Mr. Fenske was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and served as a trustee for six years. He was a member of the Mooreton Community Club and was an Antelope Township supervisor.
Survivors are his wife, two sons and a daughter, Christopher, Bradley, and Suzanne, all at home; his parents, Marvin and Elaine (Tischer) Fenske, Hankinson; two brothers, Steven, rural Wahpeton, and Guy, Hankinson; two sisters, Mrs. Jeff (Beverly) Muehlberg, Wahpeton; Jacqueline Fenske, Bismarck; his grandmothers, Mrs. Verna Fenske, Wahpeton, and Mrs. Ida Tischer, Hankinson.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.
