Obituary
Kenneth McCullough
Kenneth D. McCullough, 72, rural Richville, Minn., died Friday, Jan. 29 at Lake Region Hospital, Fergus Falls. The funeral was today (Monday) at Zion Lutheran Church, Amor, Minn.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton.
He was born Nov. 27, 1909 in Dwight, N.D., to George and Theckia (Olson) McCullough. He grew up in the Wahpeton area attending high school there. He married Lilas Hokenson Sept. 1, 1935 at Sisseton, S.D. He entered the U.S. Navy in 1944 and served in the Pacific Theatre. He was discharged in 1946. After discharge he lived in Wahpeton for 30 years working for Nabisco Co. He worked for the firm for 37 years retiring in 1971 when he moved to Otter Tail Lake residing there since.
Survivors include his wife, a son, James, Clearwater, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. James (Kaye) Halvorson, Saratoga, Calif.; four grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Merle (Mildred) Hoppert, Wahpeton; Dolores Sizer, Greenfield, Wis.; three brothers, Franklin, Breckenridge; George, Wahpeton; and James, Dilworth, Minn.
