Obituary
Dwaine Mittag was born February 7, 1951 to Earl and Mary Mittag of Wahpeton, North Dakota. He passed away peacefully in his sleep April 30, 2022. Graduate from North Dakota State College of Science. He joined the Air Force to serve his country as a Veterinarian Technician. After his stent in the Air Force, he went on to become a computer software developer for Alaska Airlines, Pepsi, NYK shipping, and Franciscan Health.
Dwaine in his free time enjoyed playing softball with his church, traveling, making beer, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends, especially grandkids. In his travels he scuba dived the Great Barrier Reef, the warm waters of Cancun, Hawaii, and the cool waters of the Puget Sound. Spent time traveling through Europe, and love spending time on the warm sunny beaches of Mexico.
He leaves behind his son Eric (Jennifer), daughter Sara (Joshua), and his four wonderful grandchildren Tiffany, Marissa, Michael, Bennett, great granddaughter Rachel, sister Karen (Tim) and many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his parents and sister Janel.
Rest in Peace Papa. You will be greatly missed.
Celebration of life May 14th, 2022 at 4pm at King of Kings Lutheran Church in Renton, WA.
