Elaine Zentgraf

Elaine R. Zentgraf, 76, Moorhead, MN, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004, in MeritCare Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, ND.
Elaine Roberta Krause was born April 16, 1928, on the family farm in Belford Township, near Hankinson, ND, where she was raised. Elaine graduated from Wahpeton (ND) High School.
Elaine was united in marriage to Mearl Zentgraf on December 21, 1947, at St. John Lutheran Church in Belford Township and they made their home in Wahpeton. Elaine worked as a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone until about 1950. She also worked for Mehl's Floral in Breckenridge, MN. They moved to Moorhead in 1970.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Mearl, Moorhead; one son, Wayne (Nancy) Zentgraf, Brooklyn Park, MN; one daughter, Donna (Clint) Rogers, Breckenridge; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margaret Tveter, Pelican Rapids, MN, and Norma (Polycarp) Moulsoff, Barney, ND. One son, Dennis, and one daughter, Sharon, preceded Elaine in death.
